Only the method of Christ
Following the example of Christ (Matthew 4:23), churches and individual members can effectively witness in any setting. “Only Christ's method will be successful in reaching people. El Salvador treated men as one who wanted to do them good. He showed them sympathy, catered to their needs, and earned their trust. Then I would say to them: 'Follow me.' ”Ministry of Healing, p. 102.
To bring a soul to Christ is simply to introduce an earthly friend to a heavenly Friend. Every Christian is a witness, but having different spiritual gifts, we cannot always all witness in the same way. There are three chapters in the Bible that focus extensively on spiritual gifts: Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, and Ephesians 4. As you prayerfully read these chapters, you may discover the gifts you possess. Some gifts are inactive until you cultivate them. Keep in mind that spiritual gifts are given for service and for the building of the kingdom of God.
